Little sister’s 21st was a Alice in Wonderland themed doo, with prizes for the best characters.
One was the best Alice who was the wrong Alice, guess who that one was. And the final was a last minute addition, not sure who the blonde was, kinda looks familiar.

Sculpture by the Sea in Bondi - some really cool sculptures on display in Bondi, and a great spring day in Sydney.
Some of the beautiful canal houses in Amsterdam. I thought they were on a lean, like Pisa or Venice, because of the ground subsiding, but found out its on purpose. It’s to make it easier to use the gables (hoists) at the top of the building. The top is further away from the bottom, I guess so anything being hoisted up doesn’t bang around against the lower floors.
Clever, if a little odd.
Amsterdam is a city on the bike, if you have heard this before you just cannot comprehend just how much people use their bikes here. They are everywhere, and more menacingly driven than cars; the cars, trucks and trams are the least of your concern. Savage Dutch riding bicycles are the ones to watch out for, throw in a few scooters with the bikes and it feels like your taking your life into your hands when crossing a road. Never thought I would say this, but crossing the road in Rome felt safer!
Anyway, the are all kinds of bikes, including these family wagon models. They have a wheelbarrow style front, with a regular bike at the back. Saw a lot of these being ridden by mum or dad with kids and or groceries in the front. Even saw motorized ones with extended fronts for carrying labourer’s gear, like paint, ladders, tools etc…
